About the Aritst

As a cartoon artist and storyteller with a Bachelors in Animation, my practice centers on blending playful, narrative-driven visuals with introspective themes that invite viewers to pause and reflect. My ongoing series, Live Outside the Box, serves as the core of my current work. Inspired by the familiar phrase, "think outside the box", I use it as a prompt for exploring personal growth, courage, and the quiet beauty found in stepping beyond comfort zones.
I work across both traditional and digital media, often returning to traditional materials like acrylic paint, watercolor markers, and pens to slow down and get in touch with my original love for creating. This tactile approach grounds the whimsical cartoon style I’ve developed over years of animation training and storytelling. Pieces frequently feature bold colors, simplified forms, and dreamlike or surreal scenes. These elements combine to create accessible images layered with universal experiences: the tension between safety and exploration, the unpredictability of dreams, and the small acts of bravery that propel us forward.
Presented primarily through Manifold, the series allows each work to stand alone while contributing to a larger conversation about risk, play, and self-discovery. I aim for pieces that feel approachable and thought provoking, encouraging viewers to feel both empowered and willing to explore the unknown. Ultimately, my art celebrates the human impulse to imagine beyond the immediate, to create even when the path ahead isn’t clear, and to find meaning in both the leap and the landing. I’m grateful to share this journey with the fine art community and look forward to the dialogues it sparks.
